Renowned researcher François Fleuret argues that forecasts of AI's impact are framed wrongly: people imagine an agent replacing a single employee ("one dude called Marvin in an open-space"), when in reality a coding agent will integrate the Bobs, Marvins and Karens of an entire company into a single "reasoning" process — meaning AI transforms how organizations work as a whole rather than substituting jobs one by one.
