- Security researchers demonstrated an attack chain on a compromised LG smart TV that could capture microphone audio while the screen appeared off.
- Recordings were stored locally with no internet access, then exfiltrated once the TV reconnected.
- The team also reported undisclosed RCE flaws in webOS and extensive local-network device discovery behavior.
