XPeng's Turing chip strategy: 3,000 TOPS Robotaxi, 2,250 TOPS humanoid robot
bookwormengr · x · 2026-09-08
XPeng is pursuing full hardware-software co-design with its proprietary Turing AI chip (750 TOPS each): the new P7 sedan carries three chips, the GX Robotaxi four for 3,000 TOPS combined, and the mass-production IRON humanoid robot carries three, giving it 2,250 TOPS of on-board compute for instant physical-task processing without cloud latency. This vertical integration lets XPeng control both hardware and software layers of its physical AI platform.
