A practical workaround for when a conference mandates a PPT template: strip the template down to its logo and take a screenshot, finalize your outline with AI assistance in Obsidian, then feed the screenshot plus outline into Youmind with a prompt to generate slides. Individual slides can be regenerated via follow-up chat, and you can also ask the AI to produce blank template pages for manual edits in PowerPoint.
