Jensen Huang hails GPT-6 Astra, declares AGI has arrived; Grady Booch publicly disagrees

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang publicly name-dropped OpenAI's GPT-6 "Astra", saying it was trained on 100K+ NVIDIA Grace Blackwell NVL72 systems and that "from ChatGPT to o1 to Astra in 4 years, AGI has arrived," with 400K more GPUs coming online. Software legend Grady Booch quote-tweeted to mock the claim: "AGI has, in fact, not arrived — unless you mean we have reached peak Authentic Granular Ignorance." A high-profile spat over whether AGI is already here.
