Dev ships Unity game characters animated via GPT-6 x Blender MCP x Unity CLI pipeline
chongdashu · x · 2026-09-08
Indie developer chongdashu shared the latest build of his Unity game, created end-to-end with a GPT-6 Astra + Blender MCP + Unity CLI pipeline: characters are rigged and animated in Blender with AI, then imported into Unity, and the game is now up and running.
In his earlier thread he explained that many doubted AI could do custom animations inside Blender — the answer is yes, but you need to tweak the rig and weight painting first before AI-generated animations become usable. The post includes a full in-game gameplay video.
