A short film made entirely from Grok Imagine: 25 images, 46 image-to-video clips
tetsuoai · x · 2026-09-08
The author built a short film in DaVinci Resolve using only Grok Imagine-generated assets:
- 25 images generated (16 used) and 46 ten-second image-to-video clips (14 used)
- Each still was split into four depth planes and inpainted so the camera can fly through a photograph without warping
- 44 shots assembled as generated Fusion comps in Resolve
- Local open-source tools for the rest: Real-ESRGAN, Depth Anything, BiRefNet, LaMa, demucs
