Sebastien Bubeck denies 'false allegations'; collaborator says week-long project fell short

Sebastien Bubeck, former OpenAI VP now at Meta's Superintelligence team, pushed back on circulating accusations, saying they are "false and inflammatory" and that he followed academic norms, promising to say more tomorrow.
Researcher danintheory, who quote-shared the post, called Bubeck "a really sweet guy with great intentions" and said he was happy their week-long collaboration worked out — but also "very sad" the project didn't finish the way they wanted. The exact nature of the dispute remains unclear.
