Google has teased Gemini 4.0 is "coming soon," but the author doubts a 4.0 Pro will arrive anytime soon. Google is currently focused on making Flash models good enough to power Workspace, Chrome, and Search, with little need for another huge model optimized mainly for coding and hard math.
