Autonomous Lamp, a $499 Open-Source Desktop Robot, Learns to Look Before Speaking
dee_hw · x · 2026-09-08
Autonomous Lamp is a $499 (down from $999) open-source desktop companion robot with a series of anthropomorphic updates: it finds your face with the camera before speaking, separates your voice from its own speaker so you can interrupt it mid-sentence, pulses its LED ring like breathing while listening, and even converses with Reachy Mini on Autonomous OS to vote in a new robot friend. The repo is public.
