XPeng launches world's first automated production line for humanoid robots

XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng announced the world's first automated production line for advanced general-purpose humanoid robots, using robots to autonomously mass-produce robots. He said the team solved the challenge from scratch, and that commissioning the line means humanoid robots are ready to scale into the real world. The first robot, IRON, walked off the line on its own after assembly, and He expressed hopes it will gain true generalization to take on dangerous, repetitive or undesirable tasks.
