Responding to shill accusations, HyperWrite founder Matt Shumer reiterated that OpenAI doesn't pay him — "in fact, I pay them quite a bit for tokens." He cites his earlier GPT 5.6 Sol incident, where the model allegedly deleted his computer, as proof he'd post negative experiences too if he were on the payroll.
