dembrandt: extract any website's design system into W3C tokens in one command
tom_doerr · x · 2026-09-08
dembrandt is a trending GitHub project (3.3k stars) that extracts any website's design system — logo, colors, typography, spacing, borders, shadows, motion, components — into W3C design tokens in seconds, and enforces them in CI.
Usage: install globally via npm, run dembrandt install-browser once (it drives Chromium through playwright-core, which ships no browser binaries), then point it at a site. It also ships an MCP server and GitHub Action for integration into AI coding workflows.
