Meta faces new lawsuit alleging 'perv glasses' footage was used to train AI without disclosure

Per Fortune, shortly after Meta agreed to pay up to $18 billion over the next decade for its child-safety settlement, the company faces another privacy lawsuit: it alleges Meta turned footage captured through its AI-powered smart glasses into training data without adequately disclosing how the recordings were handled.
- The complaint stems from a federal suit filed in California in March, alleging Meta marketed the AI glasses for one purpose while using recordings for training.
- Sharer jonerp added: "not always pervy but always super creepo."
