AI labor economist joins Burning Glass Institute to study AI's impact on jobs

Researcher Soumitra Shukla announced she is joining The Burning Glass Institute, a labor economics nonprofit, to focus on the economics of AI. Building on her independent work on how employers are changing job, skill, and task requirements, she will leverage BGI's dataset of hundreds of millions of job postings and worker profiles. She also confirmed she is staying in the Boston area.
