Citing DIGITIMES: Intel will raise PC CPU prices by 10% in October and its low-margin Small Core line may reach end-of-life, opening IPC/IoT opportunities for Qualcomm and MediaTek. Intel is also rumored to cut another 5-10% of staff after July's DCAI layoffs, with global headcount now around 75,000.
