Ethan Mollick notes it's getting very hard to track where your work and conversations live in Claude and ChatGPT: local computer, cloud, phone, a machine connected via Dispatch or Remote, inside a project? The current UX offers little help.
A reply adds that these apps also stash data locally on your computer, making tracking even more complicated — highlighting a real pain point of multi-device, multi-session AI assistant workflows.
