Responding to Dan Hendrycks' recent trans/posthuman posts, Dan Faggella re-listened to their conversation and found the core stance fully reasonable: civilization should build capacity to think through transformative futures, and any grand cosmic trajectory must not come at the cost of collapse of life or civilization along the way.

He hopes Jakub and signatories of the Pacing letter can coordinate with the public sector and IGOs on the worst near-term runaway outcomes — though he doubts there will be time to reflect before the choices are forced.
