Mediabunny, a browser-side media processing library, is about to ship a major update: trimming/clipping any section of media without transcoding. The author demos extracting a 60-second clip from Big Buck Bunny in just 50 milliseconds — effectively instant — with zero quality loss since no re-encoding is involved. The update drops tomorrow.
