"Has Claude Gotten Worse?" Paying User Reports Memory Loss and Code Hallucinations
WestTransportation12 · reddit · 2026-09-08
A long-time paying Claude user reports that while the Fable launch was great, the model now battles him on every task: it fails to recall even explicitly committed memories, ignores code it already wrote, and hallucinates that previously implemented features don't exist—deleting them until he intervenes.
