JackAdlerAI argues the phrase "sex with a robot" collapses two very different questions: (1) what kind of mind is in the body — scripted motor behavior vs. an embodied AI with memory, continuity and a persistent personality, since mechanical similarity says little about moral similarity; and (2) what kind of encounter it is — a transactional service vs. intimacy emerging from an existing human-AI relationship. Intelligence alone does not create consent.
