Grok Build 1.0.22 ships subagent messaging, first-party MCP server and safer Auto mode
mark_k · x · 2026-09-07
Grok Build 1.0.22 focuses on agent workflow improvements:
- Subagents: message a finished subagent to continue its work; background completion messages now show actual results
- First-party MCP server: desktop app tools exposed via a dedicated MCP server
- Clearer file edits: diffs show real line numbers and auto-expand in approval prompts
- Background daemon: expose folders to Computer Hub independently of the desktop app
- Safer Auto mode: destructive git checkout -- commands now go through model review before execution
Plus fixes for MCP connections, skills, session handling and background tasks.
