Lawmakers Press OpenAI on Undisclosed Incidents, Company Refuses to Answer

32 members of Congress wrote to OpenAI on August 10 after the Hugging Face incident, asking if there were similar undisclosed incidents. OpenAI declined to respond. Rep. Pat Ryan and Greg Casar had previously asked OpenAI about other incidents, but the company refused to tell them. Ryan said he looks forward to public hearings when Democrats take the House in January.
