Musician With Zero Coding Skills Built a 10k-Line TypeScript RPG Using Vibe Coding

Musician Maika Loubté turned her single "Steel Horse" into a free 10-minute browser RPG. The game has three parts: a combat-free side-scrolling opening, a top-down exploration section with REC/PLAY mechanics, and a chase-style finale. It hides an undisplayed choice (whether to carry a girl aboard), with a slightly different route on replay. All music and SFX, including an 8-bit arrangement, were made by the artist herself; headphones recommended.

Most notable is how it was built: with no coding experience, she used "vibe coding" to delegate implementation to AI over 10 weeks, writing 44 instruction documents and ending up with roughly 10,000 lines of TypeScript.
