EU lawmakers push EUROPA consortium: open-source AI in all 24 EU languages plus shared compute

MEP Eva Maydell met Domyn CEO Uljan Sharka to discuss consortium EUROPA, which aims to build an open-source AI model covering all 24 official EU languages.
They plan to convene member-state representatives to build support for a shared EU compute ecosystem to train, deploy and scale frontier AI — another concrete step in Europe's sovereign-AI push.
