User: Opus 4.8 nails UI work while OpenAI lacks focus for everyday coding needs

In a Hebrew-language post, user aloncarmel complains that despite impressive demos, OpenAI offers no beautiful, practical interface product. He says Opus 4.8 does stellar UI work without burning money, while OpenAI's long-standing problem is lack of focus: a crazy-capable model doing things 99% of users don't need. What he wants is a light, fast, cheap coding model for everyday work — talking through problems, building UIs — not browser control, painting, or 3D games, and not one costing hundreds of dollars.
