RealSense launches Perception Studio and D585 Pro camera covering 6cm-to-6m for robots

At AutomateShow in Chicago, RealSense launched Perception Studio alongside the D585 Pro, an AI studio for developers building robot perception systems. Initial features: visual inertial odometry for legged robots (camera + IMU tracking without wheel encoders), close-range vision extending the D585 Pro from 6 meters down to 12 centimeters so humanoids can see both a screw on a table and navigate a room, and built-in people detection for safety.
