roadmap.sh: open-source roadmaps map the learning order for every tech job
bigaiguy · x · 2026-09-07
roadmap.sh is a fully open-source project that maps out the learning order for tech jobs node by node, with resources attached to each node, hosted on GitHub and shaped by thousands of contributors.
Coverage includes:
- Frontend, backend, DevOps, and full-stack roadmaps
- Languages like Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, SQL
- AI engineer, data analyst, cybersecurity, and system design tracks
- Project ideas per track, sorted by difficulty
- Progress tracking to mark off what you know
The author's take: most people don't quit learning to code because it's hard — they quit because nobody told them what order to learn in. Being community-driven, the roadmaps reflect what teams actually hire for, not what course providers want to sell.
