Developer ailker shared a dramatically faster Blender-to-real pipeline:
- A 7-million-polygon scene assembled in 30 minutes with GPT-6 Astra and PATINA would take an estimated 40 hours to render on an M4 Pro; splitting it across 8 GPUs cut that to 30 minutes.
- Switching to "H3 Max" to follow the Blender animation while generating realistic buildings and materials, a 30-second video generated in 30 seconds — roughly 5,000x faster than the 41-hour render estimate.
- The author is most excited about the control: AI builds a detailed 3D prototype in minutes, then generative video adds the realism, making the whole workflow iterate far faster than traditional rendering.
