Hermes agent framework under fire: works fine unless you touch advanced features

User matviy complained that Nous Research's Hermes agent framework "is great until you actually use it" — tools, gateways, context and integrations trigger endless bugs, with every fix introducing two new ones, so why use Hermes at all if you avoid advanced features?

Author kvnloo pushed back: open source means anyone can help fix issues; he's hit gateway crashes too but finds the memory feature worth it, most bugs are easy to fix (Hermes can often self-heal via its doctor command), and suggests asking Hermes itself to compile a recurring-failure list as an issue report.
