Hermes Desktop ships Mixture of Agents: multiple advisor models, one aggregator
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-09-07
Hermes Desktop has a built-in Mixture of Agents setup: pick several reference models that independently think through the same problem as advisors—they don't run tools or take over the task. Their responses feed an Aggregator, the model that actually answers, uses tools, and continues the agent loop. You can mix providers across the setup.
Configuration lives in Settings → Model → Mixture of Agents. The idea: instead of one model reasoning alone on hard problems, the acting model decides after seeing several independent perspectives.
