Baidu_Inc · x · 2026-09-07
Baidu announced that its Class A ordinary shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange have been included in both the Shenzhen-Hong Kong and Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect programs, effective September 7, 2026 (Beijing time), following a same-day list adjustment announcement by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Eligible mainland Chinese investors can now directly trade Baidu's HK shares (9888 HKD counter / 89888 RMB counter) through both channels. The company says the inclusion expands its reach among mainland investors, diversifies its shareholder base, and should improve share liquidity.
