Lossfunk is expanding beyond AI research to under-defined problems like consciousness, reality, and the future of humanity.

- Broader scope: targeting out-of-distribution problems that academia, industry, and VCs won't fund
- New Sabbatical program for highly experienced people tackling high-leverage problems
- Raised the hiring bar for researchers, paused internships, restarted the residency program
- Rethinking outputs beyond publications, experimenting with what future labs could look like
Chopra previously sold Wingify and self-funds Lossfunk, enabling it to back problems traditional committees would pass on.
