Developer releases CuePrecise, an open-source local MCP server that turns YouTube videos into searchable timelines — answering not just what a video is about, but where a specific claim, speaker, or slide appears. It chunks audio, uses Gemini for timestamped transcription with speaker info in the original language (tested with Polish and Korean), aligns YouTube captions to recover missed terms, extracts frames around relevant moments, and returns passages, frames, and timestamp links. Evidence stays local; only audio chunks needing new transcription go to Gemini. Works with Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients.
