Redditor lets AI agent play The Sims 4 via screenshots only — it made its own Sim and turned antisocial

Reddit user thevrpill hooked Astra up to The Sims 4 and let the agent run a life autonomously: it created its own Sim, makes normal life decisions, and keeps persistent memory across sessions.
The notable part: no mod feeding it hidden game state — the agent only sees screenshots of the normal UI, figures out what's happening visually, and operates the game through standard computer controls.
This was the first real run, and the author plans to track how memory and social decisions hold up as life gets complicated. Fittingly, the Sim ended up a bit antisocial.
