Investor Francis Santora shared YC S26 batch valuations so far: low of $25M, high of $80M, median $60M — saying he can only make money at $25-30M for an exceptional company.
Vaibhav (Granola CEO) notes these valuations cut out pre-seed and many seed funds entirely, since double-digit-billion outcomes can no longer be casually assumed. The numbers may still fit the optionality value priced by mega funds; time will tell how it lands.
