Supply chain sources cited by Taiwan's Economic Daily say AWS has stepped up AI server rack procurement after raising its 2026 capex from $200B to $220B.

CEO Andy Jassy says AI compute shortage will run through 2027 with strong 2028 demand already visible; AWS's AI business and in-house chips have grown to $25B, sustaining triple-digit growth. Alchip says 3nm AI accelerator demand is better than expected, with momentum lasting at least 3-4 years.
