Mux and Resend launch email-responder hackathon with all-in trip to Resend Forward
philnash · x · 2026-09-07
Developer platforms Resend and Mux are running a hackathon whose winner gets an all-expenses-paid trip to Resend Forward in San Francisco on Oct 21, 2026; entries are due Sept 15.
The challenge: build an automatic email responder — when someone emails a video link to your Resend receiving address, your code runs Mux Robots workflows on the video, waits for the completion webhook, and turns results into an automatic reply (summary, content rating, most shareable moment, etc.). Organizers will send one of three mystery videos to test entries.
To enter: set up a Resend receiving address, deploy the auto-reply with Mux and Resend Inbound, and submit via Google Form. Judging favors creativity, with practicality optional.
