A user's first experience shopping via link (buying squishy toys) shows agents making small merchants nearly as easy to buy from as Amazon, with Shopify merchants likely to benefit most; expensive items still go to Amazon for easy returns.
Stripe's Jeff Weinstein credits Instinct and link with leveling the field for smaller shops, and got a suggestion: make returns agent-friendly too — e.g., auto-generating a mailing label and scheduling a pickup.
