Responding to feedback on agentic shopping, Jeff Weinstein of Stripe Link outlined two concrete fixes.
First: smarter timeouts that better balance long-running checkouts with safety, landing soon.
Second: shipping "budgets" that allow payments without human-in-the-loop approval, plus per-vendor spending limits as a promising extension.
This follows the original thread's critique: per-transaction approvals and a 15-minute request timeout are painful for agents run from a phone without constant babysitting.
