Yacine confirms it's real: Codex CLI designed a welded chair and got a manufacturing quote
yacineMTB · x · 2026-09-07
yacineMTB shared Kenneth Cassel's demo and confirmed it actually works: Codex handled the full pipeline from the CLI — designing a welded chair from tubes and sheet metal, annotating every weld, checking DFM rules along the way, uploading the design and returning a quote link. Evidence that coding agents can now run a design-to-quote engineering workflow end to end.
