D. E. Shaw Research has opened applications for 13 AI/ML roles spanning LLM research, agentic AI, drug discovery and infrastructure, with hybrid positions in NYC, Durham and Pittsburgh. Base salaries are transparently listed from $115K up to $1M, plus sign-on and year-end bonuses, relocation and immigration support.
Openings include a two-year Data Associate role ($170K–$210K) supporting ML-driven drug discovery datasets and Force Field Developer positions combining physics-based and ML approaches to biomolecular simulation. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
