lateinteraction comments on model naming and pricing strategy: the models are genuinely good and GPT-6 is clearly better than 5.6, but he says he'd have been reasonably impressed if it shipped as "GPT-6 Sol" with pricing/size calibrated accordingly — yet it's hard to imagine a GPT-6 Sol noticeably weaker than this still being better than GPT-5.6 Sol.
