The Rise of Zombie Employees: When AI Agents Just Talk to Each Other

Founder Binde Reddy describes the rise of "zombie employees": workers who have stopped thinking for themselves and offload everything to AI — recording all meetings, answering every email and Slack message, and generating decks, docs, and PRs. The result is employee agents largely talking to each other, with the "human in the loop" reduced to a pretense. His warning: workplace workflows risk becoming agent-to-agent busywork with humans only nominally involved.
