AI generates a fully fake UX portfolio — complete with plausible metrics and case studies

AIandDesign shares Marco van Hylckama Vlieg's weird experiment: asking AI to create a completely fake UX designer portfolio, deployed on Vercel.

The result is uncannily convincing: a fabricated designer with a 25-year bio and five projects spanning AI systems, consumer and fintech, each with plausible metrics and status notes ('38% lower median resolution time', 'the launch hid evidence by default', 'simulation complete; no ward pilot'). It's both a demo of how convincing AI-fabricated professional credentials can be and a satire of UX portfolio language itself.
