A Reddit user working in video editing and office administration says that after extensively testing Astra, he now believes his job will be replaced within one to two years.

He wasn't seriously worried through GPT-5, but says LLMs becoming able to freely operate software this quickly is genuinely unsettling. In his view, advice to "adapt to the AI era" is like trying to stop a tsunami with a wooden plank, and retraining may be pointless if the very concept of a job becomes obsolete first.
