Dev uses Astra to 3D-model Manhattan from real map data and shoot a cinematic flyover trailer
Dimillian · x · 2026-09-06
Developer Dimillian calls this one of the most impressive demos he's built with Astra: he asked it to create an accurate 3D cityscape of Manhattan using real topography and map data, then record a short flyover trailer with cinematic lighting and camera angles. The resulting video is embedded in the post, showcasing the combo of 3D generation and automated video direction.
