Claude Code Max user burns half of Fable quota in a day, suspects limits quietly cut
ATTlKA · x · 2026-09-06
A user on the $200 Claude Code Max 20x plan reports using it less intensively over the past week yet somehow burning through half of the Fable usage in a single day, suspecting Anthropic has heavily lowered actual usage limits while the model feels stunted. In contrast, he claims ChatGPT 6 Astra does roughly 10x the work at a fraction of the cost and is much faster, saying Anthropic is steadily burning through his goodwill.
