Sam Altman on AI jobs: future work may look like playing games to us today

Responding to Jensen Huang's comments on AI and jobs, Sam Altman argues there's a huge amount left to do: people will do far more than before, still care deeply about others, and remain driven by being useful. He concedes future jobs will look very different — "maybe like playing games to us today, while still being meaningful to those people." Andrew Curran notes Altman and Greg Brockman both predict AGI this year, per OpenAI's charter definition of 'highly autonomous systems that outperform humans at most economically valuable work.'
