Developer cyberGoatPsyOps reports that pidotdev 0.85.0 rewrites the top-level reasoning.effort parameter when switching thinking levels, busting the KV cache. Workaround: keep the value fixed and send changes as configurationupdate instead. Another user confirmed hitting the same issue.
